Mom

The surgery was a success, but they were only able to clear one carotid. The other carotid and the two arteries following her spine were all 100% blocked and inoperable. The surgeon feels the one carotid will supply enough oxygen to her brain. We pray he is right.

Mom is doing great. She went back to her apartment by herself. My sister’s are rotating help with showers, but the woman is amazing! Her mind is clearer than it has been in a long time and as her incision heals, for now, she is better everyday.
