   Serve

Even on Fridays, serve the Lord;

On Saturdays, we serve the Lord;

 On Sundays, we worship the Lord;

and we serve our many communities; 

We share our love through service;

and show our devotion to families;

as we teach our little ones;

all about community service and kindness;

serve is such a big word;

to cover in such a sentence;

I tried to show what service;

means in our lives today, forever;

we serve the Lord on Monday;

Tuesday; Wednesday; Thursday and any chance;

  service needs arise; we remain faithful;

Servants to the Good Lord above

Move over winter, spring comes quickly;

Fresh buds moving old foliage aside;

Allowing the new to move in;

Taking it’s time, waiting for spring;

Moving foliage slowly toward the sun;

Warm days move into cool nights;

One season moves aside for another.

Six Word Friday: Wave

A game is nothing without the wave;

I love to start the wave;

A good wave requires coördinated people;

The wave will not work uncoördinated;

The wave throws my balance off;

We throw microwave popcorn at people;

That refuse to participate in waves;

My bose sends out sound waves;

Getting the umpire to wave up;

In the stands during the wave!

Six Word Fridays- Hand/Hands

button-1Barry and I hand in hand. I love Barry’s strong, warm hands. I need Barry’s help at times. His hands are always there. When I need a hand on steps. When I need a hand up. His hands are always readily there. His comfort makes me feel whole.

I have a husband deserving much. His hands deserve things my hands. Can no longer function to give. My hands shake when they function. I want to show Barry love. I want to show him appreciation. I will find another way love.  Can shine through to Barry’s heart.

I will figure a way love. Can shine through my actions daily. I need him to know love. Still shines through in my actions. He deserves that and much more. His wonderful hands show me daily. That he loves me unconditionally always. He joins me in God’s hands. God’s plan guides our daily life. His watchful hands guide us daily.
