Entrance to the house Barry and I built from scratch and Mom’s house, off the back.
Our Home
My favorite aspect of our new home, my lovely ramp. It looks so much better when the lantana is blooming.
Tooter, our gas tank
Tooter, Jr., friendly neighborhood wind-chime
Rosemary starting to bloom, I need to trim it into some interesting critter to add more character to the yard.
The daffodils are starting to bloom, just beautiful. Forsythia and daffodils signal the start of spring in Georgia.
Wonderfully quiet neighbors across street
Old Homestead, across the street, of the man the road we live on is named after.
Old barn in the lot next door, more in the right of way than the lot. Shows how much the area has changed.
Long drive to an old home place off the road, next door. Recently police discovered someone had stolen mail and going through it in the old house. Not always quiet in the countryside.
Bush with blooming white flowers in neighbor’s yard
Cedar Tree on roadside
Area known for finding sleeping wildlife, while out for a long walk. Our dog starts barking before we get close to this area.
A practical joker was at work in January. I could not believe this when I pulled up to it. It was across from a stop sign on an extremely busy road in our neighborhood.
I wish I could get a picture of the bull frogs around here. When rain is on the way, they are so loud it keeps you up at night.
The above photos taken with my HTC Wildfire S.
I loved this tour! What a lovely home and so peaceful!
Thank you, we like it. What I love is there is always a breeze!
Lovely! Where I live now there is always heat or dust ;).
Breeze even when it’s hot…no dust, but we do get a little heat.
