  1. Thank you for the award! Thats so nice 🙂 I’m not quite sure if I’m suppose to answer the questions or what to do? Or do I just accept it? It’s a little confusing considering I just made this blog a week ago & I’ve never gotten an award online lol. By the way I have a benign tumor as well. They just cant seem to get rid of it with treatment (surgery, radiation). I love your attitude!

    • Mine looks like normal brain tissue, so they can’t tell what to take out.
I cried for two years at the drop of a hat, but I adjusted.
You answer the questions and nominate more blogs. Brings a lot of traffic to your site.
You only started a week ago? I thought I read posts from last year.
It is also to encourage you to keep writing. A lot of great blogs out there. You could be a writer/blogger and not know it. Just write about what you know.
People cannot understand what we are going through, but they can be extremely supportive. You need all the support you can get now.
Don’t hold your emotions in, write them down. Very therapeutic. Some of my blog posts have been published on some internet papers. You never know where things like that may lead.
Well a week or year, you deserve the awards, make it fun!……Jill

      • Oh okay I guess I’ll have to read more blogs.. I’m sorry to hear that, thats amazing to me what you have because I’ve never heard of it before, I’ve heard of tumors but not that. You are a very inspiring woman. I have actually been writing my whole life but I just started this blog about a week ago.. I’ve been an overthinker throughout my life & it helps me bring out the good when I’m going through bad. I’m hoping that people will read my blog and be inspired.. itd be great to get published.

      • Brittany,
Thank you for the kind words. The tumor and rare disease I have been diagnosed with is found in 1/250,000 people in the US. They are treating me, but I feel like a guinea pig at times. One doctor actually told me face to face, that I was an experiment. We actually have a lot in common. I have been an overthinker my entire life. I have tons of notebooks to prove it. My tenth grade English teacher was determined I was going to write a book. Who knows? Maybe I’ll actually do it. I like your writing, just keep it up! Tell your frustrations, your happy times, your sad times, about things you don’t quite understand. The award pages I posted, check out some of those blogs. Several are published authors and give tips on writing technique. There are two below, that I think you will enjoy. Find things that make you feel good and get busy! Is there a brain tumore supoort group in your area? That really helped me. Church has really helped, also. We found a new church that made both of us feel like we belonged and love it! Do you, or can you exercise? I don’t want to pry. Just trying to help. If church makes you uncomfy, please forgive me. I will not bring it up again. I’ll quit rambling. I need to clean the fishtank. Shotgun is swimming in a cloudy mess. Have a great day! Raining cats and dogs here!….Jill

      • It seems like we have a lot in common.. and your not making me feel uncomfy! I like the insigh it’s actually really helpful. I have had worse times lately rather than good.. so I’ve been posting about them but I’m trying not too be too negative incase other people are looking at it in the same situation…I do excercise as a matter of fact, I’m lucky to still be able to do that. And I have a puppy thats been a great comfort to me. I just miss going out with my friends and having a job.. I’m not able to right now really do any of those things. I just turned 21 & I haven’t even gone out for a drink because I’m scared of having a seizure even though my surgeon says its o.k… Doctors can be harsh though because I got sick from this one medication they tried me on & I ended up being allergic.. I had over 12 doctors in my hospital room at one point (that was last year). I guess I just got to keep pushing on & stay focused. Hope you have a nice day 🙂
